Not syncing with Reminders

Am I missing something? THis app gets great reviews but I cant get it to do much of anything. When the promo says it syncs with "reminders" (lower case r), does that refer only to reminders that are created in Due? I cant get it to sync with my "Reminders" (the Mac OS app). Shouldnt it? If Due only syncs with itself, then I dont need it.

Also, when I create a reminder in Due, if I type "do something tomorrow", the reminder says "do something tomorrow" and it is due today. I thought it was supposed to say "do something" and be due tomorrow. FWIW, I have the same problem with the Reminders app, but Fantastical does it right.

Im using the latest OSX 10.8.2 on a brand new MacBook Pro Retina.
